I now have no brother.
New reviews and stuff up later.
Adam Yaunch of the Beastie Boys has released a video revealing that he has been diagnosed with cancer…
Luckily it seems they caught it early and it’s not too serious, and hopefully he’ll get better soon. As the video says, some upcoming shows have been affected and the new record has been delayed as a result. Get well soon!

As most of you will know by now, Lux Interior (real name Erick Purkhiser) died this week from a pre existing heart condition, at the age of 62. Continue reading ‘R.I.P. LUX INTERIOR’
As part of a plan for world domination, (this is about phase two) i’m making a zine version of the kind of stuff that i do here. It would be very nice if anyone who likes stuff on here and is interested in a slightly different paper version with interviews and shit, could add me on MySpace at www.myspace.com/wwhrdzine or give me an email at wwhrdzine@hotmail.co.uk and i can then add you to my mailing list, so i can send you more info about when its gonna be able to get hold of, and other stuff like that.
Thanks

I was listening to this earlier today and realised again how genius the whole thing really is. I’d be suprised if another band has done anything quite this cool.
This was originally featured at the 405.
The setting for this show seems to resemble a living room with a stage, more than it does a proper show venue- something no doubt helped by the interesting choice of wallpaper, but in a way that’s nice. There’s only about 50 people here, with most of them under and around the age of 18, all packed together like sardines, especially so when the first support band has to find room for five, (yes 5) drum kits. Today was my second day of living in my new student house up in Norwich. I didn’t bring nearly enough stuff to stick on walls, in order to make the place more personal to me/ homely, so i went in to town today, returning with a ruler and two bits of large, black sugar paper. Total cost= £1.20
This is the end result. Continue reading ‘My Black Flag Wall’
I’ve already reviewed a couple of the tracks on this 7″ single, as they were previously available on the bands limited edition mini-CD release. I’ll do my best not to just regurgitate that review here.
